Overdue Reviews

Here are some things I've finished and new products I'm trying.

FINISHED

Lancome Bi-Facil Face Bi-Phased Micellar Water - Just typing out this name makes me tired. The product worked well for me as a first run cleanse before washing with my regular cleanser and Paula's Choice 2% BHA. It wasn't something I thought I needed but I'm glad I got to try it out. I ended up using it mostly as an eye makeup remover if something wouldn't budge after the usual wash. After this ran out I switched back to the OG remover and realized for me there is no need for the second product. It is nice for a cleanse in a pinch though and does smell pretty good, in that Lancome kind of way.

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme - This moisturizer felt great going on and left an interesting glowy matte finish to my skin, if that makes sense at all. It's not the usual slippery shiny that you get after using a thicker moisturizer, but it still did the job. I might have to repurchase this one...

TRYING

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - A recommendation from an Insta story (hey, influencers work amirite?) that I started using because my under-eyes are seeming a bit more fatigued lately. I'm on a little hunt for something really good in the eye department and while this does moisturize and a little goes a very long way, it's not reducing the discoloration at all. If you know of anything good, especially for those of us with with skin you can see all the veins through. I could also just try and get more sleep.

Dior Lip Sugar Scrub Sweet Exfoliating Balm - I love this so far. I swipe it on about 5 minutes before I want to put on my super drying matte lipsticks and it helps exfoliate without needing to wipe off and moisturizes. I feel weird using it every time I would want to use a balm since it does feel a little grainy (but in a good way), but for times between lip colors it's perfect.

That's all I have time for now, but more to come!
